Q. What is a single row angular contact ball bearing?

A. A single row angular contact ball bearing can accommodate axial loads acting in one direction only. The bearing is normally adjusted against a second bearing.


Q. What is a double row angular contact ball bearing?

A. The double row angular contact ball bearings correspond in design to two single row angular contact ball bearings but take less axial space. They can accommodate radial loads as well as axial loads acting in both directions.


Q. What is a single row thust bearing?

A. Single row thrust bearings consist of a shaft washer, a housing washer and a ball/cage race. Because the cage and washers are seperate, mounting is simple

A. Spherical roller bearings are self aligning and have two rows of rollers with a common sphered raceway.
These taper bore bearings are usually used with a shaft adapter sleeve which is purchased separately.
