Ball Bearings

feed

A ball bearing is a bearing known as a rolling-element bearing which is a type of bearing that uses one of more balls to maintain the space between the moving parts of the actual bearing.

Ball bearings have lower load capacities than other kinds of rolling-element bearings due to the smaller contact area between the actual balls themselves. However Ball Bearings can tolerate some misalignment of the inner and outer races.

Ball bearings is to manages to achieve reduce rotational friction by using at least two races to contain the balls. Usually one of these is held fixed in place.

For more information regarding this type of bearing and to find out if this is the right type of bearing for you please do not hesitate to contact us on 0116 254 6373.
